March 26th to 29th 2009
Marie Olive and husband/CFO/Plant Manager Robert
Pelletier travelled to beautiful Portland OR (pronounced Org'n, by the way) for the annual FTF Conference. What a treat! The Conference was great with speakers giving us advice on how to survive in these economic times and still remember that if things are hard for us... well you can just imagine... But best of all, the wonderful fair traders whom we got to meet throughout the week-end. How inspirational!
The city is spectacular, with beautiful Mount Hood (pictured). Highlights included
a visit to a local brewery where a most passionate brewmaster gave us a great tour and tasting of local beers; also, what a treat to see Montreal's own Sam Roberts Band in a club! Can't wait for next year -- Boston 2010.
